So where has it all gone wrong?

My view is the summer recruitment. Poor signings by Sullivan, when proper money should have been spent on proper players, not frees and loans. Not signing players in the right positions - too many wingers and relying on Carroll to be fit.
Followed by lack of experience from the manager

Agree on the signings & their lack of impact.
Remember though, we are currently playing our 4th striker and we have tonnes of injuries in the back line. I think it's just a period of gritting through it and look forward to the return of the genuine quality of Cresswell, Carroll (injuries or not), Ayew who are dearly missed right now.

Poor preparation for the season - shit preseason, players coming back late and injuries haven't helped. I think fitness and game mentality is also suspect.
Poor form makes players edgy and our play chaotic.

Why do people blame Sullivan? We spent more than enough. Bilic had a massive part to play.

Personally think that we had two unbelievable windows signing players like Creswell, Payet, Lanzini & Antonio for a combined price of Zaza....I think the owners tried it again and we are seeing the downside to buying on the cheap.
